Ethel B. Hallas passed away on March 9, 2016.
She was born on August 30, 1924 to Albert and Evelyn Burns in Stamford.
Ethel worked as an assembler for Electrolux where she met her husband Stanley. She raised her children Joseph and Ruth Ann. Ethel worked at Faucetts Publications in Greenwich and The History Book Club in Stamford. Ethel loved spending time in her garden, enjoyed wildlife, cooking and baking.
Ethel was predeceased by her husband Stanley.
She is survived by her children Joseph (Linda) and Ruth Ann. She is also survived by her sisters Shirley Saumell, Isabel Noyce and Jane Miles; her grandson James (Pam), great-grandchildren Arthur, Evelyn, and Edward.
Visitation will be on Monday, March 14, from 4 to 7 P.M. at Castiglione Funeral Home, 544 Old Post Road #3, Greenwich. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, March 15, at 10 A.M. at Castiglione Funeral Home. Interment will be private.
