The lifelong Greenwich resident passed away Feb. 1 at the age of 90.

Paul Joseph Palovchek passed away Monday February 1, 2016. He was 90.
He was born March 13, 1925 to Andrew and Anna Palovchek.

He was a lifelong Greenwich resident and a World War II U.S. Navy veteran, serving in the Pacific. He worked at Electrolux in the payroll dept, was a member of Sokol USA and a lifelong member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Byram.
Besides his parents, Paul was predeceased by his brother William.

He is survived by brothers Edward of Byram, Andrew of Stamford and Richard and his wife Maidi of Cos Cob, in addition to his niece Janet Faulkner, her children Robin and Kevin, niece Christa Masiello, her children Marc, Kyle, Matthew, and nephew Mark Palovchek.
A funeral service is scheduled for Friday, February 5 at 10 a.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Delevan Avenue, Byram. Friends and family may visit Leo P. Gallagher & Son, 31 Arch Street, Greenwich on Thursday, February 4 from 5 to 8 p.m.
