October 2025 Greenwich Police Activity Report Released
Police continue to remind residents to lock their cars.

GREENWICH, CT — The Greenwich Police Department has released its crime/activity statistics for October, and residents are again being reminded to lock their car doors.
"Vehicle theft often occurs due to opportunity, and your vigilance plays a vital role in maintaining the safety of our community," police wrote on Facebook. "We appreciate your cooperation and support in enhancing public safety. Together, we can work towards reducing these incidents and ensuring our neighborhoods remain secure. If you notice any suspicious activity, please report it to the Greenwich Police Department immediately."

- Burglary: two
- Larceny from motor vehicle: five
- Motor vehicle thefts: eight (four have been recovered)

Police said "traveling too fast" was the most common citation issued to driers. The most reported crime for the month of October in Greenwich was larceny.
