Yes, Greenwich Representative Town Meeting(32years), Past chairs of Finance and Education committees, current chair of Town Services and Labor Contracts committees. Former district chair.
Why are you seeking this office?
Helping my neighbors, my community to have excellent services and remain affordable through civil and transparent engagement.
The single most pressing issue facing my constituents is ____, and this is what I intend to do about it:
Rising cost of government services and capital needs. Actively engage to find efficiencies, prioritize needs, develop credible capital planning and funding. Listen to my neighbors.
What are the major differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
The six republicans I am part of can work together to effect change, collaboration is key. Democrats continue to advocate for spending more, borrowing more, adding financial burden to me and my neighbors. Together we can work through differences to find best way.
What other issues do you intend to address during your campaign?
Maintain excellent services, enhancing the capital project planning and funding approaches and continue predictable taxes; transparency and inclusion.
What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
Have been chair of many committees which gives me strong understanding of the Town, the services residents expect and fiscal responsibility. Done through asking the tough questions, transparency, inclusion, civil discussion.
What is the best advice anyone ever gave you?
Listen, understand, work together to solve the problem or challenge.
Is there anything else you would like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
Am a life time volunteer firefighter in Town, am a consultant by nature.
