Popular Active Lifestyle Brand Opens First East Coast Store In Greenwich

GREENWICH, CT — Popular activewear brand Beyond Yoga has opened its first East Coast retail store in Greenwich, marking a significant expansion milestone for the Los Angeles-based company.

Located at 197 Greenwich Ave., the 2,760-square-foot store is the largest in the brand’s growing portfolio and offers the most extensive product assortment to date, featuring collections across women’s, men’s, and maternity apparel. The location was selected to strengthen Beyond Yoga’s presence in one of its top-performing markets, the company said in an announcement.

"Greenwich is a vibrant community where wellness and movement are part of the daily lifestyle—and where many of our fans already live and shop with us online," said Beyond Yoga CEO Nancy Green in a prepared statement. "This new store isn’t just a retail space; it’s a place to connect with others, take part in movement classes, and experience the essence of our brand in action."

The store was designed to reflect Beyond Yoga’s core values of comfort, authenticity and connection, the company says.

It features an open layout with natural materials, and includes a preserved historical window that allows natural light into the fitting room area. Shoppers can enjoy coffee, tea, and water, and the location includes a patio space for community events.

To celebrate the opening, the company will host wellness events through its Club Beyond platform, including collaborations with local instructors and studios. Opening weekend shoppers will receive a co-branded L.L. Bean tote while supplies last. A portion of proceeds from the weekend will benefit Soul Ryders, a local nonprofit.

The Greenwich location is part of Beyond Yoga’s growing fleet of retail locations.

Additional store openings are planned for later this year in the Boston Seaport neighborhood, Westport, CT, and Marin, Calif.

Beyond Yoga, a female-founded company, began in 2005. The brand has now over 1,218 wholesale accounts spanning both US and international markets, and eight brick and mortar stores in California, Chicago, Seattle and Greenwich.

In September 2021, Beyond Yoga joined Levi Strauss & Co., one of the world’s largest brand-name apparel companies and a global leader in jeanswear.
