Update: All Roads Now Open In Greenwich: Police

GREENWICH, CT — All roads are now open in Greenwich after several were closed yesterday due to downed trees and wires caused by rain and strong wind that swept through the area.

Police announced the all-clear on social media Thursday morning.

Due to downed trees and wires, Valley Road at Dandy Drive is closed in Cos Cob, and so is Manor Road, according to Greenwich police.

Numerous other roads have partial closures, police said, although they didn't specify where. Police noted that crews and utilities are out clearing the blockages.

Police reminded residents to use caution when driving and to stay clear of any downed utility line.
