Sexual Assault Charges Lodged Against Greenwich Man
The charges stem from two incidents involving minors earlier this year, according to police.

A Greenwich man is facing sexual assault charges stemming from incidents earlier this year involving two teenage girls, according to Greenwich Police.
The 20-year-old suspect was arrested Nov. 12 by members of the Special Victims Section who investigated the alleged assaults and obtained arrest warrants. One incident occurred this past summer and the other occurred at the suspect’s home last winter, according to a police report.
Taiel D. Gookool, of 56 Prospect St., Greenwich, is facing two counts each of risk of injury to a minor, second-degree sexual assault and illegal sexual contact with a victim younger than 16; and one count of fourth-degree sexual assault.

Gookool was unable to post $75,000 bond and is scheduled to appear Nov. 19 in state Superior Court in Stamford.
