UPDATE: Details on Supermodel Stephanie Seymour's DUI Arrest
The Greenwich resident was arrested following a CT Turnpike car crash.

Stephanie Seymour, the supermodel, actress and wife of the polo-playing art collector and newsprint magnate Peter Brant, was arrested on a driving under the influence charge, Connecticut State Police said Monday.
Police said that Seymour was arrested Friday following a two-vehicle crash on the southbound Connecticut Turnpike exit 5 ramp in the Riverside neighborhood of Greenwich at 9:25 p.m.
According to the police report, Seymour was stopped at a stop sign on an exit ramp when another car came up and stopped behind her 2015 Range Rover. Instead of moving forward, Seymour put the vehicle into reverse and backed into a 2008 Mercury driven by Deija D. Sanders, 19, of New Haven.

Neither Sanders nor his two passengers were injured.
The 47-year-old Seymour “had bloodshot eyes … was unsteady on her feet … and her breath smelled of an alcoholic beverage,” according to the arrest report. Seymour also refused to perform field sobriety tests, according to the report.

In addition to the DUI charge, Seymour was ticketed for unsafe backing. She was released after posting a $500 bond and scheduled to appear Feb. 2 in state Superior Court in Stamford.
Seymour and her husband live in a 21-room Colonial situated on more than 50 acres of property that fronts both North Street and Taconic Road in the exclusive Conyers Farm enclave where Brant established his Greenwich Polo Club that has attracted internationally ranked players as well as Britain’s Prince Harry.
