Supermodel Stephanie Seymour Seeks Alcohol Education Program
She is accused of being involved in two crashes before her arrest on a DUI charge.

Supermodel Stephanie Seymour applied for an alcohol diversion program during an appearance Tuesday at state Superior Court, a program that could lead to the dismissal of a drunk driving charge.
The Hartford Courant reports that the 47-year-old Greenwich resident also applied for accelerated rehabilitation, a special form of probation, for a second case involving an hit-and-run crash that occurred shortly before her drunk driving arrest by Connecticut State Police on Jan. 15.
The Victoria’s Secret model, who’s graced the covers of several magazines including Sports Illustrated and Vogue, made the applications in Stamford before Judge Auden Grogins. If she successfully completes both programs, the charges would be dismissed.
On Jan. 15, Connecticut State Police arrested Seymour on driving under the influence and unsafe backing charges after she allegedly backed her 2015 Land Rover into a car on the I-95 exit ramp in Riverside. At the time, police said Seymour was unsteady on her feet and had an odor of alcohol on her breath. She refused to take a breathalyzer test.
The state trooper also noticed there was severe front end damage to her vehicle, according to Greenwich Police who on Monday arrested Seymour on charges of evading responsibility and failure to drive in proper lane. Greenwich Police said it was about an hour after Seymour’s arrest that they received a call from someone reporting that a utility pole on Stanwich Road, near Crown Lane, had been snapped in half.
