Violent Fugitive Wanted In Attempted Murder Case Captured In Greenwich: Police
The Greenwich Police Department assisted the U.S. Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force in executing an arrest warrant Tuesday morning.

GREENWICH, CT — A "violent fugitive" wanted in connection with an attempted murder case was captured in Greenwich early Tuesday morning, according to an announcement from Greenwich police.
At approximately 5:30 a.m. Tuesday, Greenwich police officers assisted the U.S. Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force in executing a court-signed, fully extraditable arrest warrant on the western side of town, police said in an announcement.
The fugitive was located and taken into custody "without incident," police said, noting there is no ongoing threat to the public.

Police did not provide any information about the arrestee or the investigation, and pointed any inquiries to the U.S. Marshals.
