What's In Your Wallet? Several Million Dollar Winning Tickets Still Unclaimed

Winning Connecticut Powerball and lottery grand prizes were recently sold throughout the state and haven't been claimed.

The Connecticut Lottery is urging residents to check their old tickets because several winning tickets, including two $1 million and one $2 million winner, are still unclaimed.

Other top cash prizes have also gone unclaimed and lottery officials are hoping to change that.

From the then-historic Powerball drawing on Jan. 9, both a $1 million and a $2 million winning ticket have gone unclaimed, according to Connecticut lottery officials.

The winning $1 million ticket was sold in Fairfield County, while the $2 million winner was sold in Hartford county. The winning Powerball numbers again for Jan. 9 are: 16, 19, 32, 34, 57, and the Powerball is 13.

From the Jan. 5 Powerball drawing, a $1 million ticket was sold in Fairfield County and it’s currently unclaimed. The winning Powerball numbers for the Dec. 5, 2015 drawing are: 13, 27, 33, 47, 68, and the Powerball was 13.

Other winning tickets unclaimed, include the Jan. 12 Lucky for Life drawing in which someone in New Haven County won $25,000 a year for life, and on Nov. 6, someone also in New Haven County won $100,000, which also is currently unclaimed.
