Author Ron Janson at SECAPA Meeting March 21, 2011

The Southeast Chapter of the Connecticut Authors and Publishers Association will present local author Ron Janson at its next open meeting Monday, March 21, at 6:30 PM at the Groton Public Library, 52 Newtown Road, Groton.

Ron Janson (aka Roy Johnson) has a unique and broad-based career, including corporate management positions, business consulting, entrepreneurial ventures, education and writing. He is the author of the nonfiction book Shareholder Value - A Business Experience (Butterworth-Heinemann) and is also the author of SterlingHouse fiction titles Red Money and What Is Hers.

Ron’s presentation, “Beyond the Book” will be a discussion of “Ancillary Rights” and “Literary Services.” Topics will include an overview of “Rights,” a response to commonly asked questions, and “Critical Factors” for successful writing and how to capitalize on that writing.

The presentation, open to the public, will follow a brief business meeting at 6:30 PM and refreshments will be served.
