Groton Arrests: Child Injured During Domestic Dispute

An 11-year-old child was injured during a domestic dispute in Groton City over the weekend.

Police called for an ambulance for the child who received a "bump on the head" during the altercation on Feb. 18, according to police records.

Kareem T. Lucas, 35, of 202 Grove Avenue, Apt. 1 in Groton, was arrested at 3:39 a.m. and charged with disorderly conduct, third-degree assault and interfering with an officer.

He was scheduled to appear in court today.

In other police news, a Groton man was held on a $100,000 bond over the weekend after his arrest on burglary charges.

Edwin G. Doss, 28, of 345 Gold Star Highway, Apt. 119 in Groton, was arrested on Feb. 19 at 8:46 p.m. and charged with second-degree burglary, criminal attempted burglary, use of drug paraphernalia, sixth-degree larcency, possession of a controlled substance, breach of peace, driving an unregistered motor vehicle, misuse of plates, failure to have insurance and driving under suspension.

He was scheduled to appear in court today.
