Meetings, Teen Photo Contest, What's With Probate and a Blood Pressure Clinic
Five things to know about today, Tuesday, September 10.

- Today’s supposed to be mostly cloudy, with a high near 75 and tonight will be mostly cloudy, with a low around 68 according to the National Weather Service.
- Ok, ready for this? Tuesday: The Inland Wetlands Agency Site Walk - Special Meeting meets at 3:30 p.m. at 00 Lambtown Road; the Inland Wetlands Agency Site Walk - Special Meeting meets at 4:30 p.m. at 0 MacDonald Ct; the Poquonnock Bridge Fire District Board of Directors - Special Meeting at 6 p.m. at Groton Senior Center; the Noank Fire District Executive Committee meets at 7 p.m. at the Noank Fire House; the Planning Commission meets at 7 p.m. at Town Hall Annex - Community Room 2.
- The Groton Public Library will host a teen photography contest held throughout the month of September. Teens between the ages of 12 - 18 are welcome to submit original photography relating to the chosen theme of “Peace.” Submissions will be accepted from September 10 - 17.
- And, there’s a Blood Pressure Clinic today at the Groton Senior Center beginning at 11 a.m.
- Tonight at 7 p.m. at the Groton Public Library, a panel of experts will describe the Probate Court structure in Connecticut. The purpose and responsibilities of the Court will be covered, which range from determining an individual’s ability to manage their finances and personal health, dealing with issues of parenting and dealing with the consequences of death. The panel will also examine the process of estate administration including such key roles as Executor/Administrator, Trustee and Guardian.
