Event also draws 126 vendors

Thousands attended Groton’s annual Fall Festival today, an event that drew a record number of vendors.

More than 126 businesses and non-profits set up booths for the festival from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. at Poquonnock Plains Park. Shuttle service was provided from nearby Ella T. Grasso Technical High School.

Vendors with booths included restaurants, artists, crafters, jewelers, scouting troops, the youth football league, the police department; the health district and Groton Patch.
