Groton has more than 20 vacancies on its various volunteer boards and commissions, according to a list compiled recently and posted at the town clerk's office.

• Board of Assessment Appeals: 3 alternates

• Community Development Advisory Committee: 1 regular member, 2 alternates

• Conservation Commission: 3 members

• Economic Development Commission: 2 members

• Fair Rent Commission: 1 regular member, 2 alternates

• Historic District Commission: 1 regular member, 1 alternate

• Housing Authority: 1 member

• Inland Wetlands Agency: 1 alternate

• Library Board: 1 member

• Neighborhood Revitalization Zone: 3 members

• Planning Commission: 1 member

• Water Pollution Control Authority: 1 member

• Zoning Board of Appeals: 2 alternates

• Zoning Commission: 1 alternate
