"As I write this I am smiling ear to ear and have tears in my eyes..."

A Guilford Patch reader shared this act of kindness she was the recipient of late last week at the Guilford Big Y. She posted her 'thank you' via an announcement on our site:

"I wanted to take this time to thank 3 people that I came into contact with at the Guilford Big Y around 1 pm yesterday (3/21).  The first thank you is to the beautiful couple that handed me money and told me that my kids are wonderful.  You handed me the money and asked if I would be offended if you gave me something to get the kids a treat.  As I write this I am smiling ear to ear and have tears in my eyes.  The words that you said about my kids made my year!  You caught me off guard that I did not even think about asking you your name (I am very sorry about that).  You grabbed my hand and hugged me.  I will ALWAYS remember you!  You had a plum colored sweatshirt on.  I have not stopped talking about both of you!

A thank you also to the gentleman that emptied my cart onto the belt.  You saw me struggling reaching into the bottom as I had my daughter in my ring sling.  Thank you for helping me!  I have told everyone about you and your kindness!!

I was on cloud nine with the kindness that was poured upon me and my family yesterday.  Know that it will not be in vain.  This WILL be passed on!"
