MADISON, CT — It’s a battle between Guilford and East Haven to see who can raise more funds during Giving Tuesday. The loser gets pied.

First Selectman of Guilford Matt Hoey and Mayor of East Haven Joe Carfora have offered a fun competition for Giving Tuesday.

The goal is to raise $5,000 by Nov. 28.

The most donations raised in the name of either Team Guilford: First Selectman Matt Hoey or Team East Haven Mayor: Joe Carfora on Giving Tuesday determined who gets to “pie” the losing team at 4:14 p.m. on Nov. 29 at Twin Pines Diner in East Haven.
