GUILFORD, CT — A small brush fire broke out in Guilford Monday night, and thanks to quick actions from first responders, the blaze was prevented from spreading to a nearby building, according to the Guilford Fire Department.
The GFD said following an investigation, the cause of the fire was determined to be an improperly discarded cigarette.
