GUILFORD--Soon local businesses in Guilford could be displaying merchandise outside--and not just on sidewalk sale days.
According to The Guilford Courier, the Economic Development Commission is considering a proposed amendment to the zoning code. That amendment would allow merchants to display one item outside of their shops, such as a mannequin or sign.
The proposed amendment would allow for the outdoor display from April-December 24 every year, The Courier reports.
