Classes Canceled For Guilford Public Schools Thursday

GUILFORD, CT — The Guilford Public Schools District has canceled classes Thursday due to the inclement weather that's expected to move into the area.

According to the National Weather Service, snow is expected before 10 a.m., with snow, freezing rain and sleet until noon. Rain is likely in the afternoon. The high Thursday is forecast near 37.

Little or no ice accumulation is expected, but new snow and sleet accumulation of 1 to 3 inches is possible, the National Weather Service says.
