Classes Canceled Tuesday At Guilford Public Schools

GUILFORD, CT — Classes have been canceled on Tuesday at Guilford Public Schools due to the weather and dangerous road conditions.

"Due to the snow and mixed precipitation expected throughout the day, schools will be closed and after school and evening activities are cancelled," the school district said on its website.

A winter weather advisory is in effect until 7 p.m., for New Haven County.

Snow accumulations of up to 2 inches and ice accumulations of up to one-tenth of an inch are possible in coastal areas of New Haven County, according to the National Weather Service.
