Classes Delayed Monday At Guilford Public Schools

GUILFORD, CT — Guilford Public Schools is operating under a two-hour delay on Monday, according to an announcement from the school district.

"There will be a 2 hour delay today, Monday, February 3rd, in Guilford Schools to allow time for road and school crews to clear roads, parking lots, and sidewalks following the snow overnight," the school district said.

Accumulating snow moved into the area Sunday night, but it's not expected to stick around for long.

According to the National Weather Service, the high for Monday is 43 degrees, with a steady temperature of 40 degrees Monday night.
