Road Reopens After Crash In Guilford: Police
Police provided an update early Friday morning.
GUILFORD, CT — A section of Boston Post Road reopened Friday morning after a lengthy closure.
The Guilford Police Department announced at 6 a.m. the road between 1675 and 1700 Boston Post Road reopened after a crash brought poles and wires down. The incident affected the area under the I-95 overpass.

The roadway between 1675 and 1700 Boston Post Road is shut down, which is affecting the area under the I-95 overpass, Guilford police said. Crews are expected to work in the area through at least 3 p.m. Thursday.

Motorists are being advised to use alternate routes including Flag Marsh Road to Long Hill Road.
"Mind the speed limits on these neighborhood roads as safety of the community is paramount," police announced.
