CT DOT: Construction to Continue in Guilford

Guilford, CT - Drivers, be warned.

Construction on I-95 in Guilford, by exit 59, will be ongoing this month.

The project, which originally was to be completed by June 30, is continuing through July, according to The Guilford Courier.

The Connecticut Department of Transportation began the project in May and was to wrap up by June 30.

According to the ConnDOT press release, the construction crews are replacing "an existing culvert under I-95 between Interchange 59 (Goose Lane) and Interchange 58 (Route 77) in Guilford."

Dayton Construction is completing the estimated $500,000 project, according to the DOT.
