Details Released For Guilford's Sounds of Summer Concert Series
Sounds of Summer Concert Series features various bands, including Magic Motown, Daily Plant and Leaf Jumpers.

GUILFORD, CT – Sounds of Summer is back in Guilford with concerts at Guilford Green and Jacobs Beach.
All the concerts on the Guilford Green run from 6:39 p.m. to 8 p.m. The rain dates for the Sunday concerts Series will be Sept. 4, 11, or 25.
The Sounds of Summer kicks off with Leaf Jumpers on Sunday, June 25, on the Guilford Green. Leaf Jumpers play rock hits of the past 40 years, such as U2, REM, The Police and Matchbox 20.

On Sunday, July 23, Beau Bolero, a Steely Dan Tribute Band, takes the stage on the Guilford Green playing hits like “Rikki Don’t Lose That Number,” Reelin in the Years,” and “Hey Nineteen.”
On Sunday, July 30, The Larry Stevens Band plays songs from Bruce Springsteen, Van Morrison and more.

The Sounds of Summer continues through August with three shows starting with Magic Motown on Sunday, Aug. 6, on the Guilford Green.
On Sunday, Aug. 20, Another Tequila Sunrise, an Eagles Tribute band, will play top hits from the Eagles, and on Sunday, Aug. 27, Brothers Doobie, a Doobie Brothers Tribute band, takes the stage.
Five concerts are lined up at Jacobs Beach from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. for those who can't make it to the Guilford Green.
The first concert at Jacobs Beach is MassConfusion on Thursday, July 13.
On Thursday, July 20, Daily Plant plays at Jacobs Beach, followed by Muddy Rudders on Thursday, July 27.
The last two concerts at Jacobs Beach are Foxtrotter on Thursday, Aug. 3, and The Blue Rhythm Band on Aug. 10.
