Guilford’s five history museums invite you to visit them and all they have to offer. Each museum has its own architecture, time periods, collections, and stories to explore: Henry Whitfield State Museum, Hyland House Museum, Thomas Griswold House Museum, Medad Stone Tavern Museum, and Dudley Farm Museum. When you visit all of them, you venture through nearly 400 years of history. PASSPORT TO GUILFORD HISTORY 2025 participants not only show your support for these amazing history sites, but you also have the chance to win a grand prize.

To begin, visit any of the museums during regular hours to pick up a Passport, then get your Passport stamped when you tour each site. The program is open to adults and children beginning Sunday, June 1, 2025, and running through Sunday, September 28, 2025. Participants should check with individual museums for hours, admission (required at three sites), and other information.

After visiting all five museums and turning in your completed Passport at any of the museums by Sunday, September 28, 2025, you will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win a grand prize basket overflowing with museum swag and merchandise generously donated by local businesses and valued at over $300. The grand prize winner will be randomly selected from all of the completed Passports and will need to pick up their prize in person at the Henry Whitfield State Museum.
