Downed Trees, Powerlines Close Road In Guilford (Update)

GUILFORD, CT – Streets around Durham Road are closed or are down to one lane due to trees and powerlines on the ground, Guilford Police Department said.

Peddlers Road in the 330 Block has been closed, police said.

Both 1600 Durham Rd and 5400 Durham Rd are one lane, police said.

Eversource has been advised, and DOT and DPW are trying to clean the areas, police said.

In an update to the initial post, everything except for Peddlers Road is open, police said.

Crews are still working around town on lines, but roads are passable, police said.
