First Round Of Fundraising Finished For Guilford Dog Park

GUILFORD--Furry friends around Guilford may be playing in the new dog park before the start of the summer.

The Friends of the Guilford Dog Park reached its first fundraising goal for the new park, The Guilford Courier reports.

The group raised $41,000, beating their $38,000 goals. The dog park's planned summer opening may happen sooner, The Guilford Courier reports.

Furry friends throughout the community will be running, playing and barking in the 1.5-acre space on Nut Planes Road.
