Guilford Board of Education Still Finalizing School Budget: Report
The BOE is working on a final budget for the upcoming fiscal year.
Guilford, CT - The budget for the Guilford school district is still being finalized.
According to The Guilford Courier, the Guilford Board of Education is continuing to work on cutting $750,000 from the fiscal year 2016-2017 budget.
The district had 15 staff members retire, and will see savings from those retirements, The Courier reports.

Despite the retirements, the BOE needs to make cuts, including at the high school and middle school level, according to the report.
Cuts could include minor changes to class offerings and maintenance.
