The Energy Task Force has arranged that in the near future town residents will receive a letter recommending they participate in residential energy audits. There will be a small fee ($75 for gas and electric heat users, $95 for others). Residents will benefit from an audit worth over $500 and the ensuing energy savings, and the town will be reimbursed by the auditors with the fees paid by you to the auditors. This will generate much needed funds for Social Services to give to the Fuel Assistance Program. Everyone wins, so please respond positively to the letter.
