GUILFORD, CT – Connecticut’s Second oldest agricultural fair returns in September.

The Guilford Fair, established in 1859, is set for Sept. 15-17 at the Guilford Fair and Fairgrounds, 111 Lovers Ln.

On Sept. 15, the fair officially starts at 4 p.m. and runs through 11 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 16; the fair runs from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. On Sunday, Sept. 17, the fair runs from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

On Saturday, Sept. 16, the Guilford Fair Parade will begin at 10 a.m., rain or shine.

Tickets are $10 for adults and children 12 years and older, $8 for senior citizens 62 years and older and children under 11 years old can come into the fair for free.

A 3-Day discount pass is available for $25.

The price of admission includes access to all exhibits and entertainment.

Rides and refreshments are an extra charge.

There are two options for fair-goers to park.

The first is at the satellite parking lot at 1575 Boston Post Road, Guilford, just off I-95/Exit 57. This parking site is free, and a shuttle bus service is provided.

The Guilford Fairgrounds are handicapped accessible, and accessible parking is available only at the Fairground’s onsite parking lot.

For those who would like to park onsite, there is a $10 parking fee.
