Guilford Fire Department Members Receive EMS Award
Yale Center for EMS hosted the annual EMS Awards Ceremony, where fire department members were recognized.

GUILFORD, CT – Guilford Fire Department said fire department members were recognized for two cardiac arrest saves in 2022.
During the annual Emergency Medical Services Awards hosted by the Yale Center for EMS, Firefighter Paramedic Jed Morrissey and Firefighter EMT John Moffat accepted the awards on behalf of the department for exceptional and professional effort during a cardiac arrest, resulting in the preservation of quality of life.
Others recognized were Captain Mike Walston, Captain Jeff Young, Captain Clint Haverkampf, Firefighter Paramedic Ashley Vargoshe, Firefighter Paramedic Graham Dale, Firefighter Paramedic Ryan Farrelly, Firefighter EMT Cody Maillet and Firefighter Larry Reilly.
