Guilford Fire Department Reports 327 Calls in January 2013

On their new website, Guilford Fire Department is reporting their incident totals for each month, starting in January of 2013. During the month, the Department responded to almost 200 Rescue and Emergency Medical Calls, and 10 fires. 

Their responses also included those for HazMat, service calls, and good intent calls. The Department also noted 49 false alarms and false calls. Their total calls for the month reached 327. 

The breakdown of calls on their website is as follows:

• Fires 10
• Rescue and Emergency Medical Calls 197
• HazMat Response 8
• Service calls 41
• Good Intent Calls 22
• False Alarms and False Calls 49
