Guilford Officials Extend No Swimming At Jacobs Beach To Wednesday

The continued elevated bacteria levels at Jacobs Beach have extended the no-swimming.

GUILFORD, CT – Town officials have extended the no-swimming at Jacobs Beach until July 12 due to elevated bacteria levels.

Guilford’s Parks and Recreation Department first announced no swimming at Jacobs Beach on Saturday, July 8.

The popular swimming destination was closed until July 9 before it was extended on July 11.
