Guilford Pizza Owner Helped Bake 5,000 Pies At Super Bowl
Pasta Avest and Pizzeria co-owner Neco Lopez is more of a soccer fan, but that didn't stop him with the monumental Super Bowl pizza effort.
GUILFORD, CT — Pasta Avest and Pizzeria owner Neco Lopez took his pizza-making talents to the Super Bowl to help a team prepare about 5,000 pies during a pre-game event.
The pre-game event was hosted by oven maker Marra Forni, according to the Shoreline Times. About 15 pizza makers took part in the fast-paced effort.
