“And then we have the majority of people who take the time to pick up other people’s litter... we see you... walking with your kids, your dogs, your friends... with a bag in hand and gloves on.
“We see you making a difference and we appreciate the fact that you are keeping Guilford beautiful.
“And as for those who continue to litter, a fine of up to $199 is coming your way... your mom is not coming to clean up your mess... in fact, she would be very disappointed if she knew you were littering.
“So take your trash and place it in the trash can... if there is no room... don’t be lazy... take it with you.
“Keep Guilford beautiful or plan on paying a fine AND picking up your litter.
“Thanks for sharing and stay safe.”
