Guilford's Bishop's Orchards Announces Annual Fall Festival

The festival features apple and pear picking, wagon rides, and more.

GUILFORD, CT — Guilford-based Bishop’s Orchards has opened its annual Fall Festival, running daily through Nov. 4 at its main orchard at 480 New England Road (this location is not the Farm Market & Creamery on Route 1).

The festival, open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., features apple and pear picking, wagon rides, a pick-your-own flower field, and pumpkin picking starting later in September. Weekend activities include food trucks and seasonal offerings from the farm’s general store.

This year’s corn maze highlights Connecticut’s recent recognition as the “Pizza Capital of the U.S.” in partnership with the New Haven Pizza Club. The maze includes pizza-themed attractions and photo spots alongside Bishop’s activity area, which has slides, bounce pads, pedal karts, and other features.
