Guilford's Farmers Market Adds New Vegan Food Truck

GUILFORD, CT – Guilford’s Farmers Market continues Thursday, June 29, and this time there’s a new food truck on the block.

The Guilford Farmers Market on Thursday, June 29, runs from 3 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at 111 Lovers Ln.

Guilford Farmers Market officials have announced that G-Monkey Vegan Food Truck, an award-winning organic vegan farm-to-table food truck, will deliver the highest quality of food during the farmers market.

Officials said Chef Mark Shadle is the former owner of G-Zen in Branford and ION in Middletown.

Also featured Thursday is National Rocket Pop Day, and to celebrate, Chet’s Italian Ice will have its “Patriot” Italian Ice made with lemon, fresh blueberries and raspberries.

Market officials said Curly Tail Farms will have microgreens at the market for purchase.

Replay will be the musical talent at the farmers market.

Other food trucks at the farmers market include Franks Wood Fired Pizza and Mexataly Kitchen.
