GUILFORD, CT - Guilford would receive $777,000 less in state aid next year than it got this year under the budget plan released on Wednesday by Gov. Ned Lamont.

The following year, under Lamont's plan, the town would receive more than $1.5 million less than it currently receives.

A big part of the lost funding is because Lamont is proposing that the towns pick up partial cost of teacher retirement costs.
