Lane Closures Expected On I-95 In Guilford Area: When And Where
Lane closures and detours will be in effect. Motorists are being asked to slow down and follow posted signs.
GUILFORD, CT — The Connecticut Department of Transportation will soon activate wrong-way detection systems on I-95 in the Guilford area, according to an announcement from the Town of Guilford.
Work will take place on I-95 northbound at Exits 54, 56, 58 and 59 in Guilford and Branford. Work dates are scheduled for July 22-23, from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Nighttime lane closures and detours will be in effect. Motorists are being asked to slow down and follow posted signs.

The systems use cameras and flashing signs to alert wrong-way drivers, while instantly notifying CTDOT and State Police to respond.
