Location For Guilford Dog Park Approved: Report

Parks and Recreation approve site; Zoning and Wetlands pending a vote.

Animal lovers in Guilford can have something to look forward to in the possibility of a new community dog park.

A site on Nut Plains Road has been approved by the Parks and Recreation Department for possible use as a dog park, however, approvals are still pending from the Planning and Zoning Board as well as wetlands commission, said Parks and Recreation Director Rick Maynard via the Guilford Courier.

The proposed dog park will be very unique and far from the stereotypical dog park, said Maynard via the Guilford Courier.
