Market-Favorite Vendor Makes Its Return To Guilford's Farmers' Market

GUILFORD, CT – As the Farmers Market at the Guilford Fairgrounds continues, a fan-favorite vendor returns to the farmers’ market.

The Farmers Market at the Guilford Fairgrounds continues Thursday, June 22, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at 111 Lovers Ln.

Farmers’ market staff said 24 Peace is back this week after several people asked for their return. 24 Peace makes eco-friendly shirts with prints from local artists. A portion of every sale goes toward a charity.

According to farmers’ market staff, as the season progresses, you will find a wider variety of produce from the farmers as they become ready to pick.

Also joining 24 Peace at the farmers market is Greenery with salad bowls and Wraps, Maple Grove Farm, Half-Mile Acre Farm, Dondero Orchards, Seacoast Mushrooms, Lost Lake Organic Farm, Curly Tail Farms, Potter Family Farm, Bit ta Blue Farms, Star Fish Market, Well Comb Home Honey, Soulstice Kombucha, Dog and Hen, Eclectic Kreations, Re-Rood Your Health, Papa Spyros Olive Oil, Mostly Nuts, Twelve Spring, Crunchy Diva Designs, Country Bread Bakery, Bob’s Jerky, Al’s Kettle Corn, Pop’s Famous Guac, Anna’s Lemonade, Traveling Italian Chef, Auntie Arwen’s Spices, Chet’s Italian Ice and Gelato, Blue Star Heath and Wellness, Ronnie’s Candles, Handmade in Madison, Aunt Ollie’s Creations and Thimble Reed Baskets.

Farmers market staff said they have increased the number of picnic tables for people to enjoy, and there is still plenty of eating for families to come and have dinner from one of the food trucks: Franks Wood Fired Pizza, Mexataly Kitchen, The Greenery Food Truck and Mariano’s Cannoli Truck.

Those attending Thursday’s farmers market can hear a music performance by Mark Koschwitz.

As a look ahead to the June 29th Farmers Market at the Guilford Fairgrounds, farmers market staff said G-Monkey Food Truck, Passionately Pasta, Bead Sprouts and SuperSeedz will be at the farmers market.
