Mix Celebrates 5 Years; Donates $500 to Guilford Non-Profit

Mix Design Store celebrated 5 years of business this past Saturday, March 23. Guilford Patch stopped by on Saturday to wish them a happy birthday and found Jennifer Cowie, Wendy Walden, and Betsy Gribble behind the counter smiling and helping their customers.

They celebrated with a party and a sale at the store, but they also wanted to give back to the community that gave so much to them. They asked shoppers to vote on a non-profit to be the recipient of a donation, saying: 

As our gift to the community for five years of generous support, we will donate $500 ($100 for each year we have been in business) to the Guilford-based, nonprofit of YOUR choice. 

After the votes were tallied, The Guilford Center for Children (Guilford Day Care) was the winner.
