New Guilford Salon and Spa Is Distinct

Guilford, CT - Guilford residents have a new, luxury beauty haven in their neighborhood.

The town's newest hair salon and spa, Distinctions, opened its doors to the public last month, according to the Shoreline Times.

The "luxurious full service hair studio day and med spa" is "nestled in the quaint historic district of the Guilford Green," according to the company website.

Husband and wife, and owners, Jennifer and Hector Alers are hoping their distinctive day spa and salon, which also offers medical spa treatments and men's services, will attract clients from around the area.

Jennifer Alers told the Shoreline Times that the business is "distinctively different," offering a one-stop shop for clients' beauty and lifestyle needs.

"The spa/salon is renowned for its friendly, unpretentious staff, esthetically pleasing and relaxing atmosphere, and more notably for its qualified and professional team of master colorists/stylists, aestheticians, therapists, registered nurse/field clinical specialist," the owners state on their webiste.

Located at 4 Water Street, Distinctions has a hair studio, a day spa, a med spa and offerings for men.
