No School for Guilford Public Schools Tuesday, Feb. 12

A message from Guilford Public Schools Communications Coordinator:

Dear GPS Community:
 
Guilford Public Schools will remain closed on Tuesday, February 12, 2013.

Public Works crews continue their hard work removing snow to make roads in Guilford accessible and safe for travel.  The Town continues to communicate with schools officials to update us on their progress and conditions. As always, our concern is for the safety of our students and our staff.

The Guilford Board of Education Regular Meeting scheduled for tonight, Monday, February 11, 2013, has been cancelled.

Including Tuesday’s emergency closing, the last day of school and Guilford High School Graduation are currently scheduled for Wednesday, June 26, 2013. Our 2012-2013 School Calendar allows for emergency make-up days through Friday, June 28, 2013.
  
Therefore, after Tuesday, in the event we have two more emergency closing days, they will be made up on June 27th and June 28th.  Any additional emergency closing days will be made up during April vacation, beginning at the end of the break (April 19th, April 18th, etc.) as needed.
