Numerous Road Closures, Tree Suspended Over Wires On Route 80

GUILFORD, CT — A toppled tree is suspended on power line live wires on Route 80. The road is closed from Long Hill to Maple Crest, Guilford police said. And, lights are out at Route 80 intersections, police said.

Here is the latest update — as of 7 p.m. — of all closed roadways in Guilford.

-SB lane of travel 3000 Durham road just south of the fire house -blocked

-NB lane by 203 nortontown - blocked

-40 Peddlers closed/ wires on the road. It’s almost right at Boston post

-Durham Rd from Prospect Hill to Flat Meadow- closed

- Whitfield street in the area of summer. Tree and wires. - closed

-Route 80 from Long Hill to Maple Crest -Closed tree with wires and

-lights are out at Route 80 intersections

- Coventry Road closed

-Laurel Road - closed

-Milford at Woodworth closed

-Moose Hill at Granite closed

-Prospect Hill closed
