Obituary: Keith John Neal, 51, of Guilford
Keith, affectionately referred to as "Dupree" and a true "Creeker" to the core, was a skilled carpenter, talented cook and loving soul.
GUILFORD, CT - (From Wallingford Funeral Home) In Guilford April 14, 2022, Keith John Neal, 51 died following a long and courageous battle with illness. He is survived by his Father Kenton O. Neal of Guilford, Sister-in-law Wendy Neal and Niece Celena Neal of Clinton.
He was predeceased by his Mother Diane Reilly Bergeron, Brother Kevin James Neal and Stepmother Tracy Rubendunst Neal.
Keith was born on July 11, 1970 in New Haven, grew up in Stony Creek and attended Branford High School. He was a “Creeker” to the core and it was the place that gave him much happiness.
He was a skilled carpenter and loved cooking large meals while making even larger messes in the kitchen. Keith was a loving soul and wore his heart firmly fixed on his sleeves.
He brought his own weather pattern wherever he travelled and deeply touched those that knew and loved him with a special charm that was uniquely Keith.
Along with family, Keith’s loss is felt amongst his dear friends throughout New England and in Maryland where he is lovingly known as “Dupree”.
Details for the celebration of Keith’s life and his return to Stony Creek shall be announced shortly.
