Photographers: Want to Show Off Your Pics? Here's Your Chance!
Shoreline Arts Alliance's IMAGES 2013, a statewide, annual juried photography competition in it's 32nd year, is accepting submissions at the Guilford Art Center March 15-17. Keep reading for details on how to enter.
IMAGES 2013, an annual juried photography competition open to all residents in CT, will be accepting submissions at the Guilford Art Center March 15-17. For last year's competition there were almost 200 photographers who entered, and 1,250 photographs in the competition. Out of those, 84 photographers and 132 photographs were represented in the exhibition.

... celebrates the art of photography in its many aspects, formats and technologies and encourages excellence among photographic artists. IMAGES is the only annual, statewide, professionally juried competition and exhibition open to all Connecticut photographers. All photographers with a passion and dedication to photography as an art form are invited to submit work for consideration by a distinguished panel of professionals. Judges for this annual competition bring varying areas of expertise to the review of photographs and have included educators, curators, photographers, critics and gallery owners.
Submissions are being accepted at the Guilford Art Center at the following dates and times:

- Friday, March 15, 4pm - 8pm
- Saturday, March 16, 10am - 4pm
- Sunday, March 17, 10am - 4pm
All events will be held at the GAC, and the exhibition will take place Monday, March 25 through Saturday, April 13. The Artists' Award Receptions will take place Sunday, March 24.
At the conclusion of the show at GAC, many of the photographs will be transported to CT Hospice in Branford where they will remain in exhibition from April 18- May 15.
