Public Hearings Scheduled On Proposed Guilford Public Schools Budget

GUILFORD, CT — Residents will have a chance to weigh in on the proposed budget for Guilford Public Schools during public hearings scheduled for Jan. 22 and Jan. 23.

The hearings will take place at 7:30 p.m. each night in the Guilford High School library.

According to budget documents, the proposed 2024-2025 budget is $72.4 million, an increase of 5.46 percent over the current year's spending plan, which is similar to requests from the previous two years.
